04/18/26 Tom Elkin - was hit by a car while on his weekly bike ride with his son. Tom is at Grady hospital under critical care. Please keep him and his family in your prayers!

As many of you know we had an unfortunate house fire in the neighborhood on Settlebench Lane. After speaking with the owner, the current need is daily essentials. I will list some items below, but please feel free to add any essential “daily” items you would like to contribute. At this time she would prefer to receive these items in lieu of any cash donations.

01/01/24 Mary Zimmer - passed. She will be buried at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Ga. There will be no viewing or formal service just a short service at the burial site. The Zimmers have been residents since 1982. Please include Mary, Jerry and Brandy (daughter) in your prayers. Thank you. jz
The Zimmer's will receive family and friends at their home on Thursday Jan 4 beginning at noon.
06/20/23 Tim Gowens - Surgery was successful. Aorta repair only. Valves did not need replacement. Will be in ICU a couple of days. --Dan
05/24/23 Jack Wells - passed. Prayers for his family. Jack will be missed!
05/05/23 Jack Wells is still in the hospital. More XRays today. Still taking patent drugs. Sounds terribly TIRED!
05/02/23 Jack Wells is in the hospital suffering from the after-effects of COVID. He is set for a Heart Cath on 5/3. Please keep him in your prayers (and his daughter who works at the hospital and is keeping a close eye on him)!.
04/27/23 Mary Zimmer returned from 3 weeks of physical therapy, fell and re-broke her wrist. Please keep Jerry & Mary in your prayers.

04/27/23 Edward Evans's nephew passed, sadly from suicide - special prayers for the family.
04/13/23 Another long-time Wetherbyrne Woods neighbor, Craig Thornton, has passed. We offer our sincere condolences to his family. Craig & Sue lived on Tributary Ct for 20 years! Craig was on the Wetherbyrne Board for a few years and the Neighborhood Watch captain for many years. He was also a founding member of the neighborhood Poker group! His funeral will be Sunday April 22 at Winkenhofer here in Kennesaw. Visitation at 1:00 pm with the service following at 2:00 pm.

03/08/23 Our long-time Wetherbyrne Woods neighbor, Rosalee Whitley, has passed. We offer our sincere condolences to her family. Rosalee was Secretary on the Wetherbyrne Board for over 20 years! A Memorial Service will be held later this year for her and husband Earl.
01/17/23 Melissa Emmert asks for prayers for her new neighbor who has 3rd stage kidney failure.
